In a physiotherapy practice, what separates the formats is neither LED count nor price: it is whether the device holds on its own. Anything you have to hold costs a pair of hands you do not have, and anything that occupies the table costs a slot.
For a practice running back-to-back patients and looking for a format that fits, cleans, and moves quickly.

The space
What this space demands of the hardware.
A worn format does not compete with a panel: it occupies a different moment of the session. That split of time, not output, decides what will actually serve you.
Your hands are taken
The useful format is the one that holds an area on its own: knee wrap, boot, angled panel. Anything you must hold falls apart by the second patient.
The table stays free
A ten minute session that occupies the table occupies the schedule. A worn format frees the table and follows the patient to the chair.
Cleaning is counted in seconds
Straps and shells wipe down between patients, with nothing to dismantle. A textile that goes to the wash is out of service for the day.
A cable across the room is a hazard
An integrated battery is not a comfort feature; it is what keeps an extension lead out of the walkway.
Inside the session
The moment when light costs zero minutes.
A worn device goes on during something that already happens: the opening questions, the end of an exercise, the wait between two mobilisations. The light session runs ten to twenty minutes; the appointment itself does not get longer.
Fit it during the dead time
The start of the session or the end of an exercise. Those minutes already exist inside your slot.
One area at a time
A knee, a foot, a shoulder. Chaining four areas blows up the duration without adding anything.
Bare skin
Light does not cross fabric without losing most of the dose. That holds for leggings as much as for a bandage.
Clean before storing
Not after the next patient. The habit only survives if it belongs to the end-of-session routine.

What we supply
The hardware, and what you need to talk about it correctly.
These documents are not a pitch: they are the same figures published on the site, in the same form, so that nothing diverges between what we write and what you will write.
Irradiance measurements, with their distance
A mW/cm² figure without a measurement distance means nothing. Ours are published as mW/cm² at X cm, contact included for worn formats.
The spectrum, channel by channel
Which wavelengths on which device, and which of them are controlled separately.
Maintenance, in writing
What wipes down, what comes apart, what never goes into water. In French and in English.
Framing
What you may not announce to a patient.
This block is not stylistic caution. A professional installing our devices is the one who will speak to the people using them: handing over the hardware without the boundary would move the claim, not avoid it.
It is not a medical device
Wellness products, without medical-device CE marking. An Antared device is not presented as a rehabilitation procedure.
No care claims
No treating, no curing, no relieving of any condition or pain, whatever literature is invoked.
The session replaces no procedure
It adds to what you already do. We never write that it shortens a course of care.
No study has been run on our devices
Published work covers wavelengths and doses, never Antared hardware.
Talk to someone
What we need in order to answer usefully.
Five lines are enough for a first precise answer, with figures wherever we have them. We reply in French and in English.
Tell us
- How many rooms, and whether the device has to move between them.
- The areas you treat most: knee, foot and ankle, back, shoulder.
- How many patients a day, and how long a slot runs.
- Who will fit the device: you, an assistant, or the patient.
- Your timeline, and whether you are equipping one practice or a group.

Put it into practice
The right device is the one that fits your space.
These three formats are the ones this context calls for most often. The final pick is decided by the surface to cover and the number of sessions, not by LED count.

Many physios recommend a device for patients to continue their routine between visits. Antared's 30-day home trial makes that an easy first step for your patients to try.
